Alberta part II

mid November, i flew to Edmonton, mostly to visit this awesome bear guy...

this is a picture of us just outside of Banff, where the hot springs are. we had driven down to Calgary for a couple days, and made an afternoon trip out to the hot springs with a couple other folks.

i finally made it to the Calgary Eagle, which is a good little place with some good guys. i tried to stay on my best behavior while i was there...

didn't really see too much of Edmonton, so much, but did go for an enjoyable walk along the river one late evening, through the park, watching ice float past... holding hands with a sweet bear.

it was a good few days.

i miss my bear.
