not the Big Chill
well, in fact, after that almost-rant based on blanket statements... i ended up at "movie night" with some friends... and we watched 'High Fidelity' which is in fact a romantic comedy, and is almost a chick flick. it may actually be a chick flick, but one of the smartest ones, because it tricks guys into liking it, and then thinking about thier own commitment issues.
anyways, and what is crappy, is that it is a good film. smart. it also messed up my head because it is all about the anatomy of breaking up, but ends with a getting-back-together. two things i'm not sure i needed to see; re-runs of a car wreck, and an unrealisticlly optomistic happy ending where the broke-up people get back together. messes with the head.
anyways, for all that, there is my karma, showing me right away that even *I* like at least one R.C.
